Why pair psychology with neuroscience, a biological topic? What is there to connect the two seemingly vastly different sciences? When you look beyond the surface there is a lot that connects the two. Neuroscience is basically the study of the biology of the brain, how connections are made and how messages are transmitted, while psychology is the study of behaviors. There are times when, by studying neuroscience, we can start to see and understand why certain psychological behaviors happen. At other times we can take an abnormal neurological process and see what psychological behavior it leads too. Both sciences are greatly interconnected and by studying them together we can see a clearer picture of what is really going on inside our heads.
